Nii Amankra Tetteh

Executive Director

Nii Amankra’s banking career started in Standard Chartered Bank in August of 2001 where he grew in the Wholesale Bank from a Trade Operations assistant to a star Corporate Services Manager.

In February of 2006, following his passion for SME Banking, he joined Barclays Bank as a Business Development Manager for the newly formed Local Business Team. In this role, Nii pioneered many SME innovations including the Business Club concept as a B2B marketing tool.

He progressed within the Barclays Bank Ghana leadership cohort; with appointments in the Retail Banking Business in 2009 as a Cluster Manager, through to Head of Retail Distribution in 2010 and appointment as the Head of Retail Business in 2013. His stellar performance led to a regional responsibility in 2014, as Head for Branch Optimization covering Barclays Africa’s 12 Markets outside of South Africa.

Nii Amankra returned to Barclays Bank of Ghana Limited, Accra in September of 2016 as Director, Retail & Business Banking, a role he held until November, 2017. This period was marked by historic performance outcomes for the Retail Business in the year of its centenary (2017).

Nii Amankra was later appointed Managing Director/CEO of Bayport Savings and Loans PLC, on December 1, 2017, superintending the strategic consolidation, turnaround and delivery of Bayport’s best results in its 18- year history in Ghana.

Nii is an Alumnus of China Europe International Business School, Shanghai, University of Leicester, UK, the University of Ghana, Legon and an old student of Mfantsipim School.

Charles Kweku Larbi Odam

Charles Kweku Larbi Odam

Independent Non- Executive Director

Charles Kweku Larbi-Odam is a seasoned business executive and economic strategist with over 40 years of leadership experience across Africa, the U.S.

, and the U.K.

A UK-qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), he is known for driving institutional renewal, governance excellence, and strategic transformation. He spent over two decades at Deloitte, serving as Country Managing Partner in Ghana and holding key Africa-wide roles in valuations and corporate finance.

During his tenure, he successfully revitalized Deloitte Ghana, enhancing trust, operational discipline, and commercial impact. Charles currently chairs Adamantem Chartered Accountants, focusing on business rescue and restructuring. He has served on boards including Deloitte Africa, Lenmed Health, and Yarona FM, where he has championed strong governance and strategy.

Known for his integrity and inclusive leadership, he is also deeply committed to mentoring emerging talent. His contributions extend to public policy, notably through a landmark Constitutional Court case on employment law in South Africa.

Geoffrey Martin Kitakule

Geoffrey Martin Kitakule

Non-Executive Director

Geoffrey’s career in the finance industry spans across two decades.

He is currently Letshego’s Group Head of SME and Secured Lending, overseeing 11 countries in Sub Saharan Africa.

Prior to his current role, Geoffrey was the country CEO of Letshego Uganda for over a decade. He was responsible for managing Ugandan operations.

Before joining Letshego Uganda in April 2008, Geoffrey was the Lead Specialist, Corporate Finance in charge of Corporate Finance Advisory of the East African Development Bank in Kampala.

He was also a onetime Investment Manager at the National Social Security Fund, where he managed pension funds.

Geoffrey, in the early part of his career was a Planning & Analysis Manager of MTN Uganda, a position he held for five years with oversight responsibility of business operations and planning.

Poelo Mkpayah

Poelo Mkpayah

Non-Executive Director

Poelo has over 15 years of experience specializing in financial and management accounting, group reporting, audit and internal controls, cash flow management, cost optimization, covenant reporting, taxation, strategy formulation, budgeting and forecasts.

She joined Letshego Holdings Limited in April 2014 where she served as a Finance Manager and was swiftly promoted to Head of Group Financial Reporting and Compliance due to her hard work and dedication. During this period, Letshego won the award for the Best Corporate Report and Financials conducted by PWC in 2017 and 2019.

In June 2022, she was appointed the Regional Chief Financial Officer for the Letshego Ghana subsidiary. She is a strong communicator and team player who has been exposed to multinational environments with different cultural and market dynamics and leadership styles.

Prior to joining Letshego Holdings Limited, she worked with Botswana Development Corporation as a Principal Accountant.
Poelo was selected to be a member of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA) Integrated reporting committee, which is geared at enhancing integrated financial reporting in Botswana.

She is also a member of the Letshego Group Tax Committee, which is responsible for tax optimization, managing and overseeing the tax governance structures within the Letshego Group’s feeds into the Group Audit Committee.

Alex Emmanuel Asiedu

Alex Emmanuel Asiedu

Independent Non- Executive Director

Alex is the CEO of Right to Dream Football Foundation. Before this, he was the head of Standard Bank’s Africa Regions (excl.

South Africa) investment management business. Alex served as the Managing Director of Stanlib Ghana Limited (now Stanbic Investment Management Services), prior to his regional role, leading the team into building Ghana’s second largest money management firm.

Alex chairs the National Advisory Board of Impact Investment Ghana (IIGh), the first sub-Saharan African subsidiary of the Global steering group for Impact investing. He has, amongst other roles, also served as President of the Ghana Securities Industry (GSIA) and President of the CFA Society in Ghana. He also served as a member of the international advisory board of the West African Centre for Cell Biology for Infectious Pathogens.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon and a Master’s degree in Economics from Queen’s University, Canada. He is a Yale World Fellow and a member of the CFA institute, the global organization which is dedicated to promoting the highest standards of ethics, education and excellence in the investment management profession.

Alex is passionate about Africa and its youth. He has taught leadership as an adjunct at Ashesi University and serves as a Trustee of the Gaede Foundation, an educational Not-for-Profit for underprivileged children.

Charity is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience across banking, tourism, and telecommunications.

Renowned for her strategic vision, operational acumen, and governance expertise, Charity has successfully led high-impact initiatives in national and international organizations, consistently delivering innovative solutions and fostering high-performance teams.

She has held pivotal roles such as Head of Retail Performance, Chief Risk Manager, and Head of Group Credit Administration, with her leadership journey crowned by three CEO appointments. Charity has demonstrated strong capabilities in operational excellence, governance, and compliance, contributing to her organizations' financial and operational successes.

Charity made history as the first female Board Chairman of Zanaco Plc and the first African female Managing Director for Bharti Airtel Group. She has also served as a Non-Executive Director and Board Chair for several prestigious organizations, where she led digital transformations and operational turnarounds.

A motivational speaker, mentor, executive coach and gender equality advocate, Charity is dedicated to empowering women and youth, leveraging her expertise in corporate governance, stakeholder relations, and risk management. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors of Zambia and a doctoral candidate at the Antwerp Management School in Belgium.

Ebo is a distinguished professional with more than 25 years of cross-functional experience, cultivated across Europe, North America, and Africa. His extensive career spans diverse sectors, including Professional Services, Telecoms, and Financial Services, where he has demonstrated exceptional expertise and leadership.

Throughout his career, Ebo has held pivotal roles in some of the world’s most renowned organizations. His journey includes contributions to Equity Group (Kenya), Absa Ghana, Barclays Africa (SA), Millicom (tiGO), Vodafone, Santander (UK), KPMG (UK), and PricewaterhouseCoopers (UK & Netherlands). With a solid foundation as an engineer, he has skillfully transitioned into leading large-scale projects, people, and organizational change.

Ebo is celebrated for spearheading impactful transformations, notably the acclaimed Barclays-to-Absa rebranding in Ghana—a complex and high-stakes project that showcased his expertise in change management and operational execution. His skill set extends to Digital Transformation, Operational Risk Management, Technology and Operations Management, and Audit, making him a versatile leader in a rapidly evolving business landscape.

Beyond corporate leadership, Ebo serves on the Innovare Africa Board and as Vice Chair of the EMI Chamber of Ghana, where he contributes strategic insights to drive industry progress. His passion for capacity building has seen him collaborate with organizations such as MEST and BTL Africa, and share his knowledge as a renowned trainer and Adjunct Lecturer at the Nobel International Business School.

Ebo’s blend of technical acumen, strategic foresight, and people-centered leadership continues to inspire and deliver lasting impact across industries and geographies.

Dzifa Amegashie

Dzifa is a seasoned corporate finance and investor relations executive with over 25 years of experience in banking and finance across West Africa. Her career spans high-impact corporate and infrastructure transactions, with deep engagement across SMEs, public sector regulators, and development finance institutions.

She brings specialized expertise in sustainable finance and environmental and social governance (ESG), and has led capital-raising initiatives through diverse corporate actions. Dzifa has held strategic leadership roles evaluating investment opportunities across both Anglophone and Francophone West Africa, supported by her proficient working knowledge of French.

Her cross-sector insight, regional fluency, and commitment to sustainable growth make her a valuable contributor to board-level decision-making and governance.

Sam is an Executive Senior retail banker, a Lawyer, insurance professional and a sales distribution expert with over 15+ years’ experience covering: business transformation, revenue generation, insurance, sales & distribution, products development. Sam’s experience covers Savings Loans, International Bank, Local bank and Insurance. Sam’s years of experience cover digital and transactional banking, Fintech Business and technology, data driven decision making, digital distribution, Consumer marketing, people management, with strong negotiation skills, communication and advocacy.

Sam is a product of Ghana School of Law, Makola and a member of the Ghana Bar Association with relevant qualification in Banking Law & Practice, Insurance Law, Business, Family Law etc. Sam is also a product of St Augustine’s College – Cape Coast.

He also possesses a Degree in Law (LLB) and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from University of Ghana-Legon. He also holds an Advance Diploma in Business & Economics from Chartered Institute of Insurers –UK, Insurance Law-UK, Diploma in Applied insurance from the Ghana Insurance College and certificate from the Visa Business School head at Florida-USA.

He is Currently an LLM student at Queen Mary University of London -UK .

Sam has an in-depth knowledge of the Ghana Insurance Market & practices, payroll lending, micro lending, Consumer Banking market and products. Consumer Banking Revenue Models, MSE Business & Retail banking products and procedures, Sales & Distribution Management, Performance & Productivity Management, SME & Retail banking Scorecard construct, Digital Finance & FinTech, Performance Dashboards & KPI Setting Models, Insurance sales and proposition development with lending products, Building profitable Card business and Mobile Banking Commercialization Model.

Daisy Adjei-Boadi

Daisy Adjei-Boadi

Chief Finance Officer

Daisy is a highly experienced finance executive with a BSc in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School. Daisy is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and has built a strong career across financial services, insurance, and pensions, beginning at PwC Ghana where she advised leading institutions on accounting, financial reporting, and risk management.

Daisy later served as Group CFO of Emple Ghana (previously Metropolitan Life Insurance Ghana Ltd.), driving financial strategy and supporting business growth, while also holding leadership roles as Executive Director of Emple Life Insurance and Chairperson of the Pension Board of Trustees overseeing assets exceeding 2 billion Ghana Cedis.

Daisy joined Letshego Ghana as Chief Finance Officer in April 2026, leading and developing our dynamic finance team to deliver on financial planning and analysis, technical accounting, financial reporting and budgeting.

Elsie Agnes Ankuma

Chief Risk Officer

Elsie Ankuma brings a unique combination of governance expertise, risk management insight, cybersecurity knowledge, and executive leadership. Her ability to align governance frameworks with business objectives enables organizations to manage risk proactively, strengthen resilience, achieve regulatory compliance, and build sustainable foundations for growth in an increasingly digital world.

Elsie Agnes Ankuma is a highly accomplished Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Cybersecurity professional with over 18 years of experience helping organizations strengthen governance structures, manage risk, improve internal controls, and achieve regulatory compliance across diverse industries. Her expertise spans financial services, banking, consumer goods, industrial services, and multinational organizations, where she has consistently delivered strategic solutions that enhance operational resilience and organizational performance.

Prior to joining Letshego Ghana, she was a senior executive at PwC Ghana, and led multidisciplinary teams in delivering internal audit, enterprise risk management, cybersecurity, information security, business continuity, and data privacy solutions. She is recognized for her ability to bridge business strategy with governance and technology, helping organizations navigate increasingly complex regulatory and digital landscapes.

Prince Okai brings close to two decades of progressive experience in providing leadership across various functional areas within the financial services industry and other sectors. His career spans periods of challenge, change, stability, and growth.

He is a dynamic, results-oriented leader with proven competencies in managing start-ups, turnarounds, and high-growth organizations. His extensive expertise includes working both within and outside the financial services industry, with core strengths in sales, finance, operations, and risk management.

Prince has demonstrated the ability to inspire teams to achieve peak performance.His experience covers development banking, corporate and institutional banking, retail banking, credit origination, corporate governance, business strategy and development, change and risk management, as well as policy and process development. Additionally, his interpersonal and communication skills are exceptional.

Prince Okai is a chartered member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is a Cambridge Commonwealth Trust Scholar, holding an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. He also earned a first-class Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with Philosophy from the University of Ghana.

Godwin Ntow  Danso

Chief Technology Officer

Godwin Ntow Danso is a technology executive, AI specialist, and digital transformation leader with over 24 years of experience across fintech, banking, telecommunications, education, and enterprise technology.

Prior to joining Letshego Ghana, Godwin served as Chief Technology Officer for Digital Services Limited and Ionnotek Systems, while lecturing in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, and Information Systems at UPSA and Academic City University. His expertise spans AI, cloud computing, data analytics, enterprise software development, and technology strategy.

Throughout his distinguished career, Godwin has held senior leadership positions with notable institutions including Mobile2i Ltd, Bayport Savings and Loans Ltd, Absa Bank Ghana, ePesewa Ltd, Pentecost University, Kasapa Telecom, and Ernst & Young.

Godwin holds a Master of Science degree in Mobile Computing from the University of Hertfordshire and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Information Technology at KNUST, where his research focuses on developing a novel AI multimodal Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Large Language Model framework.

Jemimah Zanlerigu

Jemimah is a seasoned and forward-thinking HR and business professional with over 19 years of progressive experience across banking, academia, and the energy sector in both Ghana and the UK.
Jemimah’s career uniquely bridges frontline business leadership and strategic HR management, giving her a 360-degree view of how people, performance, and culture drive sustainable business success.

She began her career in customer-facing and commercial leadership roles at Barclays Bank, rising through the ranks from Customer Advisor, Prestige Banker to Retail Branch Manager. These roles sharpened her ability to lead teams, drive revenue growth, enhance customer experience, and manage operational risk, laying a strong foundation in business execution and strategic delivery.

Transitioning into HR, Jemimah has held senior roles including Resourcing and Talent Manager at Fidelity Bank, Resourcing Specialist at Barclays Bank, Employment Services at the University of Aberdeen in the UK, and HR Advisor at RWG in the UK. Across these roles, she led enterprise-wide people initiatives spanning HR Operations, recruitment and workforce planning, employee relations, leadership development, and cultural transformation.

Jemimah has been a trusted advisor to leadership teams, successfully navigating both unionized and non-unionized environments, and supporting organizations through change, growth, and compliance.

Emmanuel Yaw Boafo

Head, Internal Audit

Emmanuel Yaw Boafo is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG) and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Ghana.

He has over 18 years’ experience in auditing, risk management, compliance, anti-money laundering and accountancy, having previously worked with Deloitte and Touché Chartered Accountants, CFC Savings and Loans and Bayport Savings and Loans Limited respectively.

While at Deloitte, he led different teams to carry out financial statements and forensic audits for several institutions in the various sectors of the economy.
At CFC as Head of Internal Audit, he played a key role in setting up the audit, risk, and compliance functions.

Yaw was very influential in helping the firm to secure a Savings and Loans license by drafting the key policies and procedures for the company’s new business. With his innovative training approach, he helped to promote a compliance culture at Bayport where he headed the Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering department.
